Amaryllis, a purse, and something blue

A quick sketch of some amaryllis I've been meaning to paint
An old purse and my husband's wallet. For EDM Challenge #3.
I better start adding new ones or I'll never keep up :)
This is Midna, from the Zelda Twilight Princess video game.
I painted her for an art show on Friday 11/18/11 for a Legend of Zelda Art Exhibition celebrating 25 years of the video game series. Hundreds of people came to the event, and she was placed in the front by the entrance, which was pretty cool :)

  1. Great sketches, well done with your Zelda painting, I can see why they used it at the entrance!

  2. thanks Cathy! It was a last minute entry past the deadline so I was really stressed about it. Maybe it would have been different with more time :)

  3. The Midna painting is amazing! You don't need it to be any different, it is mysterious and interesting. I like the loose way you painted the purse too.

  4. Remember, a piece of art would always be different if done again. Enjoy what you did-we have!
