A day out, a night in, and me

Sunday was a full day out, from Sea World, to Carmax, to dinner with my practically-brother-in-law. Today, a moth laid her babies on my paper towels. I ended up putting her outside but under some leaves for safe cover (hopefully.)

My little family watched the stars last night on blankets and couch pillows on the deck (with the dogs too)

A sketch of...me! Finally :)

Affectionately Named Gertrude

Recently I read on article on baby names and how some names are "better" than others. Then I read the user comments where many people had a distain for a certain name. So I decided to sketch a model from a catalogue, and I'm dubbing her Gertrude, the lingerie supermodel.

Robot Cars are Awesome

My little girl and I painted robots today. Her's was definitely more...abstract. Kid's paint with kid's brush...really challenging compared to conventional brushes. Optimus Prime from Transformers

My little boy, and some soup on sale

My new baby is over 6 months old now...so, not really "new"...more like, "new-ish" :)
Also, some soup my husband purchased since they were on sale that I have yet to put away

My dog Turbo

This is my corgi Turbo. I decided to sketch him after we played fetch for a while today after work. Watercolor on 90lb watercolor paper, ink lines (although I wish I didn't over-color it)

Flowers at Venus

Today I attended a drawing workshop with fellow artists, hosted at Venus's place with Stan Goudey. It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun. These are some flowers at Venus's place, done in watercolor on drawing and watercolor paper. Lines done with ink pen.
